Stage description
In Jels, the E1 takes a short but worthwhile detour to Jels Mølle windmill. Heading south through a few plantations, you reach the River Nørreå̊. There are a few ascents and descents to tackle here, so you won’t make quite as much progress. However, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of the countryside. After crossing the bridge on Tingvadvej, you’ll return to normal country roads and field paths all the way to Jegerup. East of Jegerup, in the Maugstrup plantation, there is a shelter in the woods. You can walk across country to reach it. It is not far to Vojens and the route is easy to follow. There you will find shops and a campsite.
