Am Ortsausgag von Vejen läuft man an einem großen Fitnesskomplex vorbei, dann südlich durch Wohngebiete. Vorbei an der Hotelanlage Skibelund Krat und über die Straße kommt man zum Fluß Kongean. Direkt auf der anderen Seite findet man einen Shelterplatz mit Toiletten. Dann folgt man dem Fluß und muss einige matschige Stellen überwinden. Nach einer Weile biegt der Weg rechts ab auf eine kleine Landstrasse und man kommt gut voran. Am Ortseingang von Jels, bei der Koldingvej, stimmt die Markierung nicht mit dem GPS-Track überein. Folgt man letzterem, so gelangt man über den Golfplatz in das Zentrum der kleinen Stadt. Dort findet man einen kleinen See, einen Supermarkt mit Café und eine schöne Windmühle.
