Directions from Pieve Santo Stefano:
Walk through the village, cross the River Tiber and then turn left, following the river. Later, turn right onto a track which is steep at first but then climbs more gently, until you reach a short section with a very steep gradient. Once you reach the track, follow it for a while until you can turn right towards the Eremo di Cerbaiolo. Continue following the GEA uphill until you reach beautiful mountain meadows, which lead you to the Passo di Viamaggio.
