Stage description

Technically less demanding than the previous stages, but not to be underestimated due to the constant, sometimes steep descent – in any case, it took us longer than the 7 hours stated here :) Halfway along the route, at the Rifugio Fonte al Romero, there is a spring that was still bubbling merrily in mid-September, unlike many of the springs marked above the tree line. Pracchia awaits you at the end of the stage with a railway station, a small grocery shop, two restaurants and several accommodation options (I recommend the B&B La Margerita for its huge, delicious breakfast).
