Stage description

The route just past Fallet heading south is unclear for a few hundred meters. You can use the GPS track as a rough guide here.

The transition from the trail by Lake Gomen to the road wasn’t clear. We chose the narrowest spot between the trail and the road to get through. We couldn’t find the transition from the forest path to Äventyrsgruvan near Tuna-Hessberg. We walked through the underbrush south of the lake; we headed north from Äventyrsgruvan. It took a long time to find the forest path. However, the path might be easier to find if you head south, as the ruins of Äventyrsgruvan serve as a landmark. The path in Fallet leads from the road between the houses (not signposted) toward the lake across the meadows and turns left into the forest just before the lake (easy to miss). In the forest, there is a marked trail that disappears just before the turning point of the gravel road; however, it is only 20–30 meters to the road, which is easily navigable.
There are almost no trail markers along the entire route of this stage.

The Jättürn hut no longer exists. The hut is being restored, but there’s a anthill inside.
