Unlike the previous stage, this trail is well-traveled and therefore easy to follow. First, follow the shore of Lake Pihtsusjärvi southward. Just past the cabin, you’ll need to ford the Rássejohka, which isn’t particularly wide but flows quite rapidly. Passing a Sami settlement, you’ll eventually reach the Pihtsusjohka, which cuts deep into the landscape as it continues on. If you want to see the Pihtsuskongäs waterfall, you’ll need to leave the marked trail for a short while, as the canyon is only occasionally visible from the path. After passing another lake, the trail reaches the Voumakasjoki, which you cross via a bridge. The bridge, which was destroyed in 2022, has since been replaced by a steel bridge. On the other bank, you finally reach Meekonjärvi, where the trail leads directly to the locked cabin of the same name. The open cabin can be reached via a detour from the next stage.
