Stage description
After crossing the Árasjåhkå via a bridge behind the cabin, the trail climbs gently but steadily for an extended period. The route circles halfway around the Stuor Dijdder mountain range. Along the way, you’ll enjoy repeated views of Virihaure to your right. The trail then descends again to the Sami settlement of Stáloluokta, located at the southeasternmost end of Virihaure. There is also a small kiosk here where you can pay by credit card. The hut is located at the opposite end of the village. To reach the campsites directly by the lake, you must then cross the Gieddejåhkå.
