Stage description

Just past the Låddejåkkåstugan, you cross the river that gives the trail its name via a bridge over a set of rapids. There are also ideal camping spots here. Beyond the bridge, the trail immediately climbs steeply and straight up for about 300 meters in elevation. Once at the top, the landscape becomes much more barren. The trail then descends back into the Miellädno valley, which is also crossed via a bridge. There are great camping spots here as well. Beyond the river, the trail climbs once more, and Lake Virihaure comes into view. Soon, the Sami settlement and the Árasluokta cabin complex come into view, and after a short, steep descent, you’ve already conquered this short stage.
