From the hut, the trail first leads across the Gieddejåhkå. After about a kilometer, you finally reach the junction where the Padjelantaleden and the Nordkalottleden split again. While the Padjelantaleden leads to Duottar, E1 hikers continue on to Stáddájåhkå. From here on, the trails become noticeably more secluded again.
The route runs largely parallel to the Stálojåhkå and is therefore mostly flat. There is a bridge crossing over the Viejejåhkå. The sweeping views of lakes and valleys that characterized the previous days are absent on this stage. You can feel yourself getting closer to the higher mountains to the west. After 12 km, you’ll reach the Stádajåhkå hut relatively quickly. Here, the Nordkalottleden splits: one branch heads toward Pieskehaure to its southern end in Sweden, and the other toward Sårgåsjaure to its southern end in Norway. As an E1 hiker, you’ll continue on toward Norway from here.
