The turn-off from the E1 toward Enarvollen (62.617242, 11.432984) heading north from the gravel road to Tyskvollen, located just past the turnoff to Enarsvolla, is barely visible. The path is barely visible and ends abruptly after about 1.5 km. From the Enarvolla side heading south, there is also no visible turn-off from the E1 onto the gravel road. If you head south from Storwarts Gruve, there is a hiking trail sign shortly after the mine pointing to Røras (9.5 km). This is likely the correct hiking trail, which presumably leads via Mattisvollen to Tyskvollen at coordinates 62.617242, 11.432984. However, we did not take this route because we did not dare to walk it. If anyone has walked this route before, can you follow these signs and thus have an alternative to – or replacement for – the no longer existing E1 between Enarsvolla and Tyskvollen?
