Stage description

The E1 trail crosses Gråhøgda Mountain just before Marenvollen (heading south) or just after Marenvollen (heading north), but it is not marked as a hiking trail and is sometimes barely recognizable as a path. It would be helpful to have a GPS file with you. Once you reach the top (980 m above sea level), you’re rewarded with fantastic views. The marked hiking trail goes around Mount Gråhøgda, but it’s about 1.2 km longer, though there’s hardly any difference in elevation gain.
