Hello everyone,
today the 3rd of July 2025, I’m in Flensburg going north. So I will be in Grenaa in a few days (16 or 17 of July). I’ve read that the ferry from Grenaa to Halmstad is not allowed to pedestrians !
is anybody have an idea ? Ask vehicles owners to join their family in the car ? 🤣

In fact, there’s no way to take the ferry as a pedestrian. The smallest vehicle being a bike.
So the alternative, recommended by the ERA association is to walk to Frederikshavn and cross the sea to Göteborg (south to north sens) using a Stena ferry !
Meanwhile there is no more ferry connection between Grenå and Halmstad at all. As an alternative to the ferry between Frederikshavn and Gothenburg/Göteborg there is a train connection from Grenå via Aarhus and Copenhagen to Halmstad, Varberg or Gothenburg/Göteborg :
